Questions brands ask
before working with a manufacturer
Can't find your question? Ask our engineering team directly — we respond quickly with specifics, not boilerplate.
Working with us
What's the difference between your OEM and ODM service?
ODM means you adapt one of our engineered device platforms and launch it under your brand — fastest and most cost-efficient. OEM means we build to your own design and specification. Most brands start ODM and move to OEM as volume grows. Details on both are on our OEM/ODM page.
Are you an actual manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a Shenzhen-based manufacturer that designs its own PCBA, LED drivers, and SMT process in-house — which is why we can state specs with measurement conditions and back them with test data. If you want to verify this yourself (for us or any supplier), use the framework in our guide to verifying a manufacturer's real engineering.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Much of our work is confidential manufacturing for overseas brands, so NDAs are standard practice for us — covering your product plans, designs, and commercial terms.
What can be customised?
It ranges from branding-level work (logo, colourway, packaging, manuals) to engineering-level work (wavelength combinations, irradiance targets, LED layout, housing, firmware and controls). What makes sense depends on your goals and volume — tell us what you're building via the contact page and we'll map the options.
What products do you manufacture?
Our core line is red light therapy LED panels across multiple sizes — see the panels range — alongside OEM/ODM builds to client specification. If your form factor isn't listed, ask: the underlying PCBA, driver, and SMT capability is what determines what we can build.
Samples & validation
Can I get a sample before placing an order?
Yes — we encourage it. Evaluating a physical sample, with instruments, is the only honest way to validate a supplier. Sample terms depend on the model and customisation level; contact us with your target spec to arrange one.
Do you provide test reports with samples?
Yes. We can supply irradiance data with the measurement distance and method stated, wavelength specifications, and relevant safety test documentation — the inputs you need to verify the device against its spec rather than take our word for it. Our guide to reading irradiance specs explains what to look for.
Can we audit your factory?
Yes — on-site visits and third-party audits can both be arranged. We'd rather work with brands that verify their supply chain; it's the buyers who don't check that end up with trading companies.
Can you help us decide what product to launch?
Yes. We work with brands from product selection through branding, packaging, and launch preparation — not just production. If you're choosing between form factors, start with our comparison of panels, masks, and wraps, then talk to us about your market.
Orders & production
What is your MOQ?
It depends on the customisation level. Branding an existing platform carries a significantly lower MOQ than a custom-engineered design, because custom work involves component minimums and tooling. Tell us your model and quantity and we'll quote both tiers — our breakdown of cost and MOQ drivers explains why the two differ.
What are your lead times?
Lead time varies with order size, customisation, and component availability, and we'd rather quote you a real date than a generic promise. When you enquire, we'll confirm a production schedule for your specific order — including sampling and pre-production validation stages.
How do you control quality during production?
Quality is controlled at the board level — LED binning, driver testing, and SMT process control — plus inspection during and after production. We can support First Article Inspection and per-batch test data, so consistency is documented rather than assumed.
What payment terms do you accept?
Terms are agreed per order and depend on order size and relationship stage — typically structured as a deposit with balance against an agreed milestone. We'll confirm specifics in your quotation.
Compliance & shipping
Can you support FDA, CE, and other certifications?
We engineer toward target standards (such as FCC, CE, RoHS, and IEC 62471, with IEC 60601 for medical positioning) and supply the device specifications and test reports your regulatory pathway needs. The claims and clearances themselves remain the brand's responsibility — our guide to FDA and CE compliance for red light devices explains how the pathways work.
Which markets do you ship to?
We supply brands globally, with most clients in North America, Europe, and the UK. Shipping method and terms are quoted per order based on destination, volume, and timeline.
Can you handle our branded packaging?
Yes — branded retail packaging, manuals, and inserts can be produced as part of the order, so devices arrive market-ready rather than needing repacking.
Who do we talk to?
Reach us through the contact page — enquiries go to the team that actually works on your product, so you get engineering answers, not sales scripts. You can read more about the company on our About page.
